Test Mode (Sega Mega-Tech)

7min

Test mode can be entered only when there is at least one valid game in the slot, otherwise pressing the button does nothing.

Make sure to short the Button 5V to the 5V on CN2 connector if not using a wire harness and real buttons to test with.

Short pins 16 and 17 together on the CN2 connector, then short any buttons you want to ground to press them.

When you press the TEST button the top monitor will show the words TEST MODE while the bottom will show the test menu.

To navigate the test menu, you can keep pressing the TEST button over and over to enter and exit each menu.

You can also use the Up and Down arrow on the P1 input CN4. However, you must have credits inserted otherwise UP/DOWN are disabled.

Press A2 button on CN2 to add credits.

Below are all the various menu screens.
