S-Video is a two pin connector where luminance (Y) and chroma (C) are transmitted separately.
If the two signals were mixed together this forms composite.
The color space used is YUV, and the video standard is YCbCr (Y = Y, CbCr = C).

- Retro Consoles (240p) 60Hz 320 Ã 240 (Receiver must support 15kHz signal)
- TV NTSC (480i/p) 60Hz 720 Ã 480

- TV PAL (576i/p) 50/60Hz 720 Ã 576
