Posting Repair Items (Send In Service)
If you are having an item repaired or sending to us for work, the process is generally the same.
Note that repair work is not a guarantee your item will be fixed, and you are paying for the diagnostics time and labour during the process of a service or repair. This is a non-refundable service regardless of outcome.
We are happy to say however, and you can see from our feedback, we have about a 97% repair rate.
For repairs inside the UK, the process is straight forward.
Firstly, choose which console(s) and parts you want repairing. It is advised you send them all in at the same time to save on postage. Choose your consoles here.
Add them all to the basket and checkout.
The service you choose covers the postage cost back to you.
Once paid, package your console up, and include your order number and full details inside the parcel of the issues to fix.
Make sure to leave your phone number at checkout or in the parcel so we can contact you with any details and updates.
Post the item to us to the following address:
īģŋRetroSix UK Repairs 156 Bagnall Road Stoke-on-Trent ST2 7LW UK Tel: +447385 251 888īģŋ
It is recommended to use a tracked courier like DHL or Fedex if your item is expensive to ensure the package does not go missing.
Email [email protected] or message retrosix-luke on Discord the details of the parcel so we can monitor it.
Once the work is complete, your console will get a full quality control check by two people, then posted back to you using the shipping option you chose at checkout.
If you are wanting to use our send-in repair service but are outside the UK, we finally have a solution for you.
There are a few things to consider before choosing the international send in service:
- You will have to pay to post the item to us, for the initial repair and any warranty
- You will sometimes get import tax charges, less likely if you choose Royal Mail (usually between 10-20% of repair work cost)
- Make sure to leave your phone number or full contact details so we can easily communicate any work needed doing.

Once the work is complete, your console will get a full quality control check by two people, video recording, and we will send you this video before posting the item back to confirm you are happy with the repair before posting it back.
Once posted back, you should receive the parcel within a week.
Return postage to you is always tracked (we only offer that option for safety of your package).
Once we receive the parcel, your order will be put in the queue for repairs.
Typically, our repair turn around is 2-4 weeks unless you selected Expedited Repair on the repair which is usually under 1 week.
If we have any issues, need more information or there are any additional works needing to be done we will call or email you to discuss.
There is no guarantee of a fix as some consoles simply cannot be fixed. But we will always offer you options for repairs/replacements or possibilities. On average we successfully repair over 90% of every console we receive.
