Floppy Disc (Amiga 600)

The Amiga 600 uses the same Floppy disc as in many other models like the 500, 1200 and so on.

The disc is the same as a PC floppy disc except for a few pins. This article explains it.

The power ribbon connects to the motherboard at the rear center.

The data ribbon connects to the motherboard at the rear right. The notch on the ribbon connector points downward on the floppy disc side, and towards the rear on the motherboard.
