Flashing Cerbios (Xbox Original)
The best way I have found to flash Cerbios is to use the OGXbox Cerbios Disc installer disc.
Simply insert it, it should boot up, then for the most compatibility choose the DCHP and nonBFM to launch the Cerbios Installer menu.
Once in there, select Flash Cerbios with XBlastOS, and use UDMA2 mode for the most compatibility, however UDMA 6 is the best and I have had no compatibility issues.
I have found on v1.6 motherboards UDMA 6 fails a lot, so I use UDMA2.
Next select the flash size. Check the mod chips datasheet for its size. The Aladdin XT is 256k as are most.
Once it boots to XBlastOS, go to Settings > Flash Menu > HDD Flash and confirm by pressing LT RT Start and White.
If all goes well your BIOS should get flashed with Cerbios and on next boot work fine.
IMPORTANT: Make sure your DVD is good otherwise it could extract corrupt copies of the files from the DVD.
